Shimano's XTR M9050 Di2 shifting system brings the seamless control and instant response that only digital shifting can provide to the M9000 Rhythm Step drivetrain. This ushers in the digital age for mountain bikers, giving them control over their ride experience, no matter their discipline, like never before.

Pairing Di2 with close gear steps means that shifting becomes a reflex. Decreased shift effort and superior ergonomics allow you to shift without decreasing your grip on the handlebar, keeping you in perfect control of both your bicycle and your effort. Your on-bike readiness will reach new heights with XTR Di2. As soon as the thought of a shift springs to mind, you can instantaneously react.

The programmable, customizable, expandable E-tube Di2 platform brings a quantum leap in personalization to mountain biking. XTR Di2 is going to change the way you ride. How it changes is entirely up to you.

With the ever expanding E-tube platform the display also allows you to view your Fox suspension position, whether you are in climb, trail or descend mode you will always be prepared for the trail ahead
Customized Synchro-shift modes can be selected between S1, S2 and Manual on the fly by using the mode button
Audible shift notification tone when in Synchro-shift mode, alerting you the front derailleur is about to shift
Easy access adjustment mode button means fine tuning front and rear derailleurs becomes effortless

The power house of Shimano Di2 is a long-life 7.4V Li-Ion battery that is both compact and reliable, taking shifting effort away from you
Excellent sealing and reliability have been proven through repeated field tests in various riding conditions, including extreme temperatures, rain, mud, and cobble stone roads
Using a hard wired battery system which is both light weight and accurate compared to current wireless technology (as a wireless system would require 4 batteries: one for the RD, one for the FD, and one for each shift lever)
The use of a single small and discreet internal battery is light weight, efficient and creates a robust and reliable system
One charge can give between 1000 and 2000 kilometre range depending on conditions and front mech operation (as this is the main power drain)
